Ben Klemm
Ben works primarily with adolescents ages 12 to 18, and young adults. He previously interned in a hospital-based adolescent partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program. There he facilitated therapy and psychoeducation groups for teens from a wide range of backgrounds. That work gave him experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, school avoidance, family conflict, and the broader range of concerns adolescents bring into treatment.
His approach is strengths-based: he helps clients recognize the resources they already have and build on them. That internship showed him how much connection and trust matter, especially with teens. He often brings in art-based and experiential activities to make sessions more engaging and help clients open up. He knows adolescence can be a difficult stretch, and he works to meet clients where they are and create a space where hard topics feel manageable.
At Action, Ben facilitates groups and sees individual clients. He is continuing to develop his skills in positive psychology and acceptance and commitment therapy.
